Meet the Mermaid

Hello, my name is Morgan, and I am the Mermaid behind the sewing machine. I currently live in Strathmore, Alberta with my husband and our two sons.

I started sewing about 5 years ago with my mom at a quilt retreat. I learnt to sew quilts before anything else. Cutting, pressing and piecing together a quilt is still to this day one of my favourite projects.

Zippers were my next challenge in sewing and now my most popular product is a variety of bags. Using different fibres and materials to create unique, fun, modern designs is what I do best.
